Brooke Eberle
Hello! My name is Brooke Eberle (she/her), and I am a second-year Master of Social Work Student.
Therapeutic Approach
This work is deeply personal to me. I’ve walked my own path of growth and transformation, and I believe the best therapists continually examine and learn from their lives. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they take courageous steps toward healing and self-discovery.
Humans heal in relationships, and I strive to be a compassionate, authentic partner in my clients’ journeys. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and down-to-earth, with a touch of humor to lighten even the heaviest moments. I balance directness with empathy, creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your experiences and build meaningful change.
My clinical work is shaped by my lived experience of a life-changing traumatic brain injury and an adult female autism diagnosis, as well as a deep belief in the capacity for growth and a strong commitment to social justice. I take an integrative approach to therapy, combining cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, and restorative justice principles. I also use narrative therapy, which helps clients explore and reframe the stories they tell about their lives to foster empowerment and create positive change.
Areas of Focus
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, PTSD, autism, ADHD, life transitions, and systemic challenges. I am passionate about creating an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC clients, women, and anyone who has felt overlooked or marginalized.
As a graduate social work student, I’ve worked as a middle school guidance counselor, specializing in supporting neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ youth, addressing behavioral and mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and self-harm, and collaborating with families navigating complex issues.
Background
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a movement and breathwork instructor, urban farmer, and advocate for food justice. I was deeply involved in restorative justice initiatives, focusing on reducing re-entry stigma and supporting communities impacted by mass incarceration.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy backcountry skiing and rock climbing and co-founded an affinity space trail running club in Ashland, OR. I am passionate about removing barriers to access and increasing diversity representation in outdoor spaces. These activities fuel my personal growth and deepen my understanding of joy, resilience, and the importance of community.
