Nicole Paradis, MSW, QMHP
“I believe there is a universe worth exploring inside of every individual and have a passion for meeting people where they are. A strong therapeutic alliance is essential to healing and can be cultivated with authenticity and honesty. When working with clients, I offer transparency in my approaches and the intentions behind them, as well as frequent Psychoeducation, so the client can understand the purpose of the approaches. I welcome feedback and questions so we can become equals in finding solutions to problems that are most important to you. With a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and a background in Sociology, Native American Studies and Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies from Southern Oregon University, I value the individuality of clients and the beauty of many walks of life.
I have experience and confidence working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and gender-dysphoria. I find naturally deep healing connections with adolescents and young adults who are seeking support to overcome barriers and find inspiration to explore and develop their unique life stories. I believe that trust, honesty, and a mutual desire to achieve the client’s holistic well-being, are key components to the recovery process. In a world and society that can often be overwhelming, I welcome clients who have desire to discover the unique gifts of harnessing sensitivity into something beautiful.”
