Christa Tapp

Marriage and Family Intern

I am dedicated to recognizing and respecting the individuality of each person and relationship, ensuring that our collaborative work is tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. As you embark on the path to a more fulfilling life, I am here to provide guidance and support.

My expertise lies in fostering healthy and empowering relationships, whether you are navigating challenges in your marriage, family dynamics, or facing personal struggles. With over 6 years of experience, I am currently a dedicated internship student pursuing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, an institution accredited by COAMFTE.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon and have a rich background in behavioral health and special education. My professional journey has taken me to diverse communities, including the neurodivergent population, both in the United States and abroad in Mexico and Africa. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the challenges faced by individuals and families.

As a faith-based therapist, I am committed to integrating your spiritual and personal belief systems into our therapeutic process. While some of my approaches may be rooted in faith, I respect and honor the diverse perspectives of my clients. You don’t have to share the same faith to benefit from our work together; I am here to support individuals and couples from all walks of life.

Let’s collaboratively explore and navigate the complexities of life, building resilience and finding a path towards greater satisfaction and fulfillment. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey.
