Nikki Day
Clinical Social Worker Assoicate
It is within my belief that every individual has the ability to heal from challenging life experiences in order to thrive in their everyday life, sometimes we just have to ask for additional support, and hopefully this is where I can assist.
I am a Clinical Social Worker Associate with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. I have been providing mental health therapy services since 2019. I have lived in Southern Oregon since 2008 and have a passion for the outdoors when not at work. It has been my honor serving the community that I have been a part of for so many years. I am considered a generalist within my practice. I have experience working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, panic disorders, trauma, challenging interpersonal dynamics, and faze of life issues. I specialize in working with teens and individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I have been trained in various forms of evidence based practices and therapy modalities. Some of which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy models. These diverse methods allow me to adapt individual sessions to meet each client’s goals.
