Angelee Maxwell
Marriage and Family Intern
Welcome, I am Angelee. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at NorthCentral University. I was originally located in northern California and have relocated to southern Oregon. I am enjoying all the beauty that there is here. I like spending time with my family and my dog. I enjoy working with couples, adolescents, and adults. I believe that people will do their best with the tools they are given, and I want to give people the tools they require to have the lives and relationships they desire.
Within my work, I want to create a connection with my clients that encourages growth and self-exploration for them to gain insight into what they desire from their relationships. I understand those who are LGBTQ+, and I am culturally sensitive. I have an eclectic perspective that draws from dialect behavioral therapy (DBT), structural family therapy, Bowen therapy, and emotionally focused therapy, as well as trauma-informed care. I come from an empathetic and non-judgmental position that empowers others to achieve their desired goals. I view my clients as partners within the therapeutic relationship as they are the experts of their lives, and I am here to help guide them along the way. I look forward to working with you.
