Brandon Overstreet
Professional Counselor Registered Associate
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Southern Oregon University, completed in 2006, I have a solid foundation in understanding the intricate connection between mind and body. My journey in health promotion led me to recognize the profound impact of mental health on overall well-being, fueling my passion to support individuals on their health journeys. This passion inspired me to further my education with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.
I am dedicated to helping others find their path by providing a safe and compassionate space where clients can freely express themselves. I believe that our lives are a compilation of past experiences that shape how we face current struggles. My goal is to understand how pain influences emotions and behaviors while recognizing that previous traumas offer a pathway to healing. By taking a collaborative approach, I honor the sacred space of the therapeutic relationship, fostering healing and the redemption of spirit.
I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. My therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients, promoting a holistic and empowering path to mental wellness.
