My journey working in the field of mental health has been filtered through the lens of serving children, young adults, parents and grandparents around the world who have special needs or care for someone who is neurodivergent. I have an extensive, 25+ years of expertise working with individuals who have autism spectrum disorder, Down’s syndrome, and sensory processing disorder. I have served adult individuals with I/DD, trauma, and mental health disorders in supported living and supported employment because everyone deserves a chance at living the lives they desire to live with dignity, respect and joy.

I entered a graduate program at Liberty University to receive a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to offer more therapeutic interventions to people who are seeking psychotherapy. I am highly skill with helping individuals who are suffering from anxiety disorders, family crisis, phobic disorders, challenging relationships, stressful careers, depressive disorders and trauma disorders. My therapeutic modalities are filtered through the lenses of Narrative Therapy (NT), Play Therapy (PT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In addition to being fully trained to counsel all cultures and worldviews, my program specialized in Christian Counseling for clients who are seeking to process their presenting problem through the lens of their faith.

When I am not counseling individuals who are seeking to improve their mental health and wellbeing, just like you, I am most likely capturing wildlife through the lens of my camera somewhere in a field, hiking through a forest, traveling across a beach, or climbing over a mountain.

That is a little about me, now tell me about you!
