Shawn Nasralla

My name is Shawn and I provide counseling services at Inner Peace Counseling in Medford, Oregon. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, supported, and met exactly where they are in their personal growth process. My goal is to create an accepting and confidential environment where we can explore challenges, fears, and goals together.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy. Together, we develop a treatment plan, set meaningful goals, and identify practical tools that support personal growth, authentic living, and overall well being. My work is informed by an eclectic therapeutic style with strong influences from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and person centered psychology. I also incorporate mindfulness practices, existential exploration, and elements of somatic and expressive arts approaches when helpful for the client.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. My training included advanced coursework in human growth and development, crisis intervention, psychopathology, multicultural mental health, substance use, and psychopharmacology. During my internship with Options of Southern Oregon, I gained experience in clinical assessment, diagnosis, documentation, and supervised individual counseling.
I currently serve as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Registered Therapist Associate and practice under the supervision of Irene Meeker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning as I support clients in developing greater awareness, resilience, and alignment with the life they want to live.
