Melanie Rodgers

Hello and blessings! I’m Melanie Rodgers, excited to embark on my journey as a Peer Support Specialist. With 20 years of experience in education as a teacher’s assistant and Youth Transition Program Specialist, I’m eager to bring my skills to this new role.
I am passionate about supporting individuals of all ages, both individually and in groups, to enhance their social and emotional well-being. My mission is to offer hope and help clients envision a meaningful life. I aim to empower others by recognizing their strengths and guiding them on their path to recovery with empathy and a non-judgmental approach.
I have recently earned my certification as a Peer Support Specialist from Rogue Community College, and hold additional certifications in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Plan Facilitation, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband, three adult children, and six grandchildren and deeply committed to my faith. My personal experiences and beliefs influence my commitment to supporting others with compassion and understanding.
I look forward to building meaningful connections and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Together, we can work towards healing, growth, and a brighter future.
