Hannah Smith

Welcome. My name is Hannah Smith, and I am a Professional Counselor Associate with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to my graduate training, I bring over three years of experience as a Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor, which has strengthened my clinical foundation and understanding of complex mental health concerns.
Healing from abuse, trauma, depression, or overwhelming life experiences can feel isolating, but you do not have to navigate it alone. I work with women and individuals seeking a safe, supportive space to process their experiences, rebuild confidence, strengthen self-worth, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Using a person-centered approach grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I specialize in working with women experiencing or recovering from intimate partner violence, supporting them as they reconnect with their resilience, develop healthier boundaries, and regain a sense of self and emotional safety.
I often help clients work through depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, anxiety, and the lasting emotional impact of unhealthy or abusive relationships. Using CBT and solution-focused strategies, I support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, building coping skills, and creating practical tools for lasting growth and emotional well-being.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel intimidating, especially when facing abuse, depression, or emotional exhaustion. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. If you are ready to begin exploring change, healing, and rebuilding confidence in yourself, I would be honored to support you in that journey.
