I am a Qualified Mental Health Intern (QMHI) at Inner Peace Counseling, currently in the final stages of completing my graduate degree in counseling. Before pursuing a career in mental health, I earned a Master’s in Teaching from Southern Oregon University and spent 10 years working in the Grants Pass School District. This background gives me a strong foundation in understanding developmental needs across the lifespan, as well as the challenges individuals and families face in educational settings.

I work with clients of all ages and take an integrative approach to therapy, primarily drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and existential therapy. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients build practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and navigating life’s challenges.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, gain insight into their experiences, and develop a stronger sense of self. I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves while equipping them with skills to feel more grounded, resilient, and in control of their lives.

Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a program that follows the standards of the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). She is also a member of the American Counseling Association and adheres to its Code of Ethics while continuing to expand her knowledge and clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
