Danielle Standley

Danielle believes that therapy should be built on open, collaborative communication between the counselor and the client. She integrates elements of existential therapy with solution-focused brief therapy, allowing clients to explore both the larger questions of meaning and purpose while also addressing practical, day-to-day challenges. By balancing these approaches, Danielle helps clients gain greater insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Danielle views her role as a supportive, objective partner who walks alongside clients as they deepen their understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their mental health.
Before beginning her training in clinical mental health counseling, Danielle earned a master’s degree in education from Southern Oregon University. She spent ten years working in the Grants Pass School District, primarily serving middle school students as a substitute educator. This experience strengthened her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and support people through developmental and life transitions.
Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a program that follows the standards of the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). She is also a member of the American Counseling Association and adheres to its Code of Ethics while continuing to expand her knowledge and clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
