Philosophy and Approach:

As a counselor, I am honored to walk alongside clients as they explore pathways toward healing, fulfillment, and personal growth. My approach is deeply person-centered and trauma-informed, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including Transpersonal Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I believe that while we are shaped by early attachments and environments, we also possess the profound capacity to re-write our narratives and cultivate new ways of being and relating. My work is grounded in a liberatory and systems-based perspective, honoring the complex intersectionality of each individual’s identities and lived experiences.

I am passionate about disability justice, body positivity, and supporting clients in nurturing self- compassion, setting healthy boundaries, and integrating self-care practices. I have particular experience supporting individuals and couples/polycules, grief and loss, parenting and new parenthood, major life transitions, skills training, and identity exploration. In my practice, I integrate a transpersonal and ecotherapy-informed lens, inviting connection not only to the self but also to community and the natural world as powerful resources for healing.

Education:

I hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Dance and Sustainability Studies from The Evergreen State College, and earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Integral Counseling Psychology, from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in
December 2024. I am a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), receiving weekly individual and group supervision to support my ongoing clinical growth and development.

Advanced Training and Certifications:

● Foundations of Learning – Sensory and Reflex Integration work with Nina Gallwey
(2023)
● Certificate in Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies
● Ecotherapy Certificates – Level 1 and Level 3 through The EarthBody Institute
(2023–2024)
● Somatic Parts Work Training (currently enrolled)
● Gottman Couples Therapy Training – Level 1 (currently enrolled)
● Mentoring Essentials Training through Rogue Valley Mentoring (2020)
● Co-facilitated preteen and teen girls’ mentoring groups
● Basic Mediation Training through Resolve Mediation Center (2021)

I enjoy engaging in somatic and expressive arts therapy approaches and have additional study in group dynamics, family and couples therapy, human development, substance use and misuse, and transpersonal psychotherapy.

Commitment:

It is my commitment to offer a supportive, inclusive, and empowering space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that honors each client’s inherent wisdom, resilience, and potential for growth.
