I am a person-centered therapist who takes a parts work approach, drawing inspiration from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients in cultivating deeper self-understanding and self-love. While I draw from a variety of therapeutic interventions, I view these tools as secondary to the core process of making peace with oneself.

I believe that meaningful, lasting change emerges through the practice of self-compassion and self-awareness. I often begin sessions with brief grounding and calming techniques to help clients settle into their own truth before engaging in deeper therapeutic work. My goal is to help clients walk forward with a greater sense of wholeness, self-trust, and inner alignment.

Education:

I hold a B.A. in Neurobiology and Science Communication from Cornell University and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. My scientific background informs a holistic understanding of wellness as an integration of mind, body, and spirit. As a person-centered counselor, I find depth in exploring spiritual and religious experiences, while also honoring the insights offered by science. I am here to support your journey through any or all of these realms.

Certified as a Hypnotherapist since 2015, I integrate a variety of techniques in my work, including Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), thought-stopping, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), hypnosis, mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also completing a Breath Coach Certification through the Whole Health Project, which has enriched my work with calming breathwork and somatic awareness practices. As a lifelong dancer and lover of movement, when appropriate, I integrate body-based awareness tools into the therapeutic process to help clients reconnect with themselves from the inside out.
