Nicole Paradis

I believe every person holds a universe within them, full of unique experiences and potential. My passion is meeting people where they are and building meaningful, supportive connections grounded in empathy and understanding. I see the therapeutic relationship as a vital part of healing, built on honesty, authenticity, and mutual respect.
In our work together, I’m transparent about my approach and the reasons behind it. I offer regular psychoeducation to help you better understand the therapy process, so you can feel empowered and actively engaged in your healing. I welcome feedback and questions, and view therapy as a collaborative space where your voice is essential.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and a background in Sociology, Native American Studies, and Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies from Southern Oregon University. These studies shape my deep respect for identity, cultural context, and each person’s path to healing.
I have experience working with trauma and abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and gender dysphoria. I’m especially drawn to supporting adults seeking deeper connection, resilience, and transformation. I believe sensitivity—when embraced—can be a powerful source of insight and strength.
Together, we can build skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, self-soothing, communication, (dis)stress management and values-based decision-making. I also help clients explore how past experiences impact the present and support them in creating lasting, meaningful change.
At the core of my work is a commitment to helping you feel whole and grounded. Therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your strengths. I look forward to walking with you on that journey.
