Kristen Conicelli

As a master’s student in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University, I see therapy as a courageous and collaborative act of self-discovery. I believe that within each of us is an innate capacity for healing, and that through presence, safety, and authentic relationship, that capacity can be gently reclaimed. When we feel truly met, something within us begins to soften and reorganize.
My work is holistic and relational, honoring the integration of mind, body, heart, and spirit. Grounded in attachment-informed and humanistic perspectives, I recognize how our early relationships shape the ways we move through the world and connect with ourselves and others. I hold the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process, paying attention to what emerges in the space between us and trusting that meaningful growth can unfold there.
Mindfulness and somatic awareness serve as anchors in our sessions, helping bring clarity to what is felt but not yet fully known. I draw from humanistic, existential, Jungian, narrative, somatic, and parts work approaches, allowing the work to be shaped by your needs rather than by a rigid structure. Intuition, self-compassion, humor, metaphor, and spirituality all have a place in the room.
When not in the therapy space, I feel most anchored in nature: among trees, near water, or tending to my garden. Time with my dog and creative expression through music, art, and dance bring me joy and balance. These rhythms shape how I show up in my work, trusting that healing unfolds organically through presence and connection.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities and deeply respect the vulnerability it takes to show up authentically. You are worthy of relationships — including this one — that feel safe, attuned, and supportive of a life that is aligned, connected, and true.
