Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you as we navigate this adventure called life.

I have lived in Grants Pass, Oregon with my family since 2012, along with our dogs, chickens and barn cats. I thoroughly enjoy all that Southern Oregon has to offer; whether in my back yard, hanging at the Rogue or Applegate, going to the beach, taking a hike, camping, fishing, playing pickleball or sipping lemonade on the front porch in my rocker, I love the outdoors!

Philosophy and Therapeutic Approach

I believe that each client is a unique and layered individual, shaped by personal history, relationships, culture, and life experiences. Because of this, counseling should never be a one-size-fits-all process. My approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma informed and tailored to your specific needs, honoring the qualities, values, and perspectives that make you who you are.

I specialize in supporting individuals through the seasons and challenges life brings; whether navigating struggles of becoming an adult, managing complex family or relationship dynamics, processing trauma or moving through grief and loss. I strive to create a compassionate, respectful and safe space for processing emotions, honoring memories, and finding renewed meaning. I also hold deep respect for the role of spirituality and life-enrichment practices in healing, and I welcome their integration into our work. Together, we will create a counseling experience that reflects your individuality and supports your journey toward growth, resilience, and well-being.

Education and Experience

My education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services from Indiana Wesleyan University, I served at the Oregon Department of Human Services for Child Welfare as a Permanency Social Worker. I then pursued a Master’s in Theological Studies from Liberty University which equipped me as a Hospice Chaplain and Spiritual Care Coordinator for patients and families.

My Spiritual support journey has allowed me the opportunity to serve in multiple congregations and leadership capacities for over 25 years, empathically aiding a diverse community spanning all ages, cultures, and spiritual paths. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University, where, under the supervision of Erik Houghton at Inner Peace Counseling LLC, I am gaining clinical experience and refining the professional counseling skills to provide empathetic, holistic care to each client.
